Clare Duplace is a lifelong learner and lover of the natural world. Holding space for others in a variety of ways and settings is something she holds close to her heart. Meeting someone where they are and finding the best ways in which to support them; while building a foundation of trust and comfort, is where she finds much joy. She loves to find healing and growth for herself through writing, herbal medicine, and flower essences and hopes to do the same for others.
Over the years, Clare has acquired a great many skills and certifications including acupressure, reiki, wilderness first aid, and leading girls mentoring circles. She is a trained birth and postpartum doula and a children’s yoga teacher. In 2007, Clare attended The Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine, where she received certification after the 9-month program and in 2009, attended and received certification as a Flower Essence Practitioner.
In the summers, Clare runs an herbal camp for kids ages 5-9, called Close to the Earth; where children can connect to the world of plants, herbs, and flowers and create their own herbal first aid kit, throughout the week of time together. She also runs a safe and nurturing 4-week rites of passage gathering for anyone that identifies as a girl ages 9-12 called Gather In.
Clare brings her many skills and passions to Sacred Sisters Wellness Center.
She provides flower essence and herbal remedy consultations, which include an individualized essence blend, as well as, general essence blends, and self-care kits (tea and bath blends, an herbal dream pillow, room spritzers and body oils).
You can find her in the wellness space on Tuesdays for a flower essence or herbal wellness consultation, as well as, join her twice a month on Sundays, for a Guided Writing Circle and Herbal Tea Party.
